1. Troubleshoot charging system, found defected alternator.
2. Removed and replaced alternator with overhauled P/N DOFF10300J S/N H-R041816 (overhauled by Hartzell Engine Technologies) see W/O M02944.
All maintenance performed on this Aircraft was conducted in reference with Cessna 172 Service Manuals as revised and the current regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration and is approved for return to service with respect to the work performed.
